This watercolour painting of St Mary's Street, High Wycombe, probably in the 1920s, shows the view from the vicinity of the Nicholls & Janes premises. The green sign of the Horse and Jockey pub is on the left. The artist was W.J.Stamps, first headteacher of Wycombe Technical College, appointed in 1911.
